We had a great birthday with Christian. He is such an exceptional young man. We took him to the movies and to dinner with his older sister. Then off to best buy for the latest cell phone out. Of course Summer and Christian couldn't pass up the opportunity to amuse themselves and any on lookers.

Christian really enjoys the outdoors, camping and climbing and whatever wilderness adventures he finds while out there.

Hummmm, maybe we should have put some pants on BEFORE we went out to do yard work.

Adriana chose to go shopping with a friend. I took them to the mall and her lunch of choice was Panda Express. Great choice. For her birthday cake she picked cinnamon rolls. Sinful!!!!

I had a wonderful birthday. My husband spoiled me, as always. Dinner, movies and gifts!!! New stilettos, doesn't get better than that.....

Almost every year we go out with my friend, Francine and her husband Jim. She and I have the same birthday and this is a tradition I enjoy. We have a great time with them.

Baseball

The baseball season is over for now. Curtis and Howard are such natural baseball players!

The team

Coach Jones did a wonderful job with the team. He was so positive and encouraging with the boys. He dedicated so much of his time to the boys.

Curtis was chosen to play on the all star team that starts this week. I was sitting on our rivals side during one game and I could hear what they were saying about Curtis. The parents would tell their child not to hit the ball to Velcro glove... He is just that good!!!



Howard receiving instructions from one of the coaches, his dad. Hiram is always there for our kids. He has coached for 10 years now. He started when Christian was just 6 years old.



Every season Howard really wants to get the uniform with the #1 on it. He was excited because this year he got it. You will always be #1 to me Howard.

Almost my birthday

It's almost my birthday and I have decided what I NEED... Some new stilettos. A girl can never have too many shoes. Right??

The end of 6th grade

Sabrina went to what they call the 6th grade dance. At first we thought she is just too young to go to a dance. Once I found out it was really just a school party and that there was only group dancing I figured it was harmless.

She really looked so cute. Adriana did Sabrina's hair and very little make up.

I was teasing her and telling her that I was coming as a chaperon. She begged me not to and let me know I would only embarrass her. WHAT THE HECK!!!! Kids......

Bridesmaid

Summer was a bridesmaid for my niece Jordan's wedding. I didn't even get any pictures of the bride and groom. Everyone is seated before the bride walks in and then to top it off I was off to the side and only had a side view. It was really windy and during the ceremony it began a heavy sprinkle. The wedding was held at these amazing indoor horse stables......

Howard turns 10

Happy Birthday Howard. Howard turned 10 on May 9th, the same day as his Uncle Curtis. You are such an awesome boy Howard. We are very proud of you.

After asking Howie what he wanted for his birthday he said a long board. Of course, that is what he got!!!

Maybe he should have checked out his big brothers wounds from riding the long board down an extremely steep hill before he made a clear choice.

Happy birthday to my favorite son in law. Okay your my only son in law, but your still my favorite.

We had cake and ice cream at the house then went out to dinner at Cool Hand Luke's, so yummy! After we went to dinner we headed to the movies. Poor little Howie didn't feel well so we left the movies early, leaving Jon and Summer to party without us.

Apparently this is how Sabrina has been sleeping. This way when the light rolls in the blinds she can't tell its morning, therefore not waking up too early on a Saturday.

Basketball

Last Saturday was the last day of basketball for the kids. They has a great time playing this year. Sabrina, Curtis and Howard played. This is the boys friend, Ryan.

Howard is so aggressive. The boys are such incredible players. One week they played against each other and one of the coaches told Hiram that he was like Arthur Manning, having a star on each team.
