My parents were down and some of them ended up playing a little baseball.

Home run!!!!

"Can we hurry up?"
"Ive got to go make a protein shake."

"Seriously team, lets pull it together."
My brother Curtis and son Brogan. Sabrina and their friend Jake.

Snow Campout

The scouts always do a snow camp out. They make these caves and actually sleep in them all night. It kind of makes me feel guilty for being in my bed with the electric blanket on high. Of course there is the usual junk food purchase on the way up to the snow. The cookies and chips and all the goodies that mom doesn't let them partake in on a regular basis. Curtis has a fantastic scout leader, Jeff Black.

Nice sledding Curtis......

Just moments before Howard's gnarly crash into the side of the snow bank. Ouch

Its time to eliminate all camp outs ;) I may be warm in my bed but I hardly sleep without my
Hiram laying beside me.... leaves me unrested and my eyes very red the next day.

Another Teenager

You are so beautiful Sabrina. I'm so blessed to have such a special daughter like you. Thank you for being the sweet spirit that you are.

Present time, Present time. Open the present and see whats inside!!!!

Sabrina chose El Rosal for her birthday dinner. I like your choice Brina. Then we went to the movies with her friend and off to shopping from there.

I'm the chauffeur.
Sabrina was kind enough to remind me that now I have 3 teenagers in the house!!!!! I must be CrAzY..........

Dream of a White Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. It wasn't a white Christmas so I posted these pictures my parents sent to us. This is what their beautiful cabin looks like at Christmas time....

Mr and Mrs Claus

We were busy. Shopping and wrapping then more shopping and more wrapping. Even Felix the cat had to lay down and take a break with me.

"Dad, this wont take long, just look at mom and smile."

Nothing like a new pair of stilettos. My sweetie picked these out by himself. Nice work, babe.........

Even Peyton received a new Christmas ball. The house was TrAsHeD!!!!!

"You always make me laugh."

Sabrina never seems to outgrow her desire for stuffed animals.

Christmas holidays get so hectic at times
but wow, we have so much fun just enjoying the children during the break and relaxing with the devoid schedules. Each night we stayed up longer then the previous one. When they are grown and gone and consumed with their own young, then these days will feel so far away...
( I promise we didn't lock Christian in the closet,. Every time I tried to take his picture he covered his head with the blanket. )

My mother

My mother became very sick and ended up in the emergency room. The next morning I was on a plane to Utah to be with her. After several tests were done the diagnosis was that she had cancer. I remember the horrible feeling that came over me when the doctor came in and told us of the test results. My mother, cancer? How can that be? She is healthier than most women half her age. Two days later she had surgery to remove the cancer from her body. Many prayers were said and we were hopeful that she would come out of this okay.

The doctor was able to remove all the cancer from her body and she began to heal at a rapid pace. You are an inspiration to me mom and so many others.

My mom is in the hospital bed but my sweet sister Patricia was giving me a leg massage.
( Don't worry mom, I'm purposely not revealing you while you were sick)

Felon's.... "Did the nurse see you take those?"
My beautiful sister Patricia and my brother Philip and his little girl, Kastle. So cute!!

" Curtis, seriously could you please be more alert for the picture."

Gosh, I really love my family. It was nice to see everyone.I thoroughly enjoyed being there.

My father was having the hardest time while my mother was sick. I don't think I've ever seen him so stressed and worried. In times like these you can see the real love he has for her....

My mother out hiking 6 weeks after surgery and looking better than ever.

That was a very worry some time, the week
I spent in Utah. I love my mother so much and wouldn't know what to do without her. There is no doubt in my mind that if we chose our parents in heaven then I picked the ones I have.....

IPhone camera app.

I found this new camera app for my IPhone. I have been playing around with it for awhile now just seeing all the different looks it can make. Its really fun!!!!!!!

Curtis turns 12

Happy birthday Curtis. This year Curtis chose donuts for his birthday cake. We always let them pick what they'll want for the celebration. We went to the movies then we went shopping so Curtis could find the gift he wanted. After we got home Hiram pulled out an "extra" gift, the $50 Xbox game Curtis wanted... What the heck dad.....Lol

This is your birthday from 5 years ago Curtis. Look how much you have grown. We love you and we are so thankful you are part of our life......

Minimum Days

The kids have so much fun on minimum days. They wanted to go to the tractor store, I'm not sure why. I'm assuming to play "pretend"........

Next stop was Del Taco. They still try and play in the kids land. I'm pretty sure they got thrown out this time.

"Hey mom, do you like my fake smile? "

I have been so fortunate to be able to stay home with the kids. We never wanted them to know what it was like to come home to a parent less home. Some days are very hectic and I wonder what it would have been like to have a great career and all the extras that go alone with it, but honestly, I really wouldn't change a thing.

Sweet Sabrina

Sweet Sabrina will end up in the emergency room from time to time with her asthma. She is such a trooper. It sure makes when she isn't having breathing trouble all the better.

Obviously she isn't very excited about having ex rays to see if her lungs are clear.

A couple powerful breathing treatments and we were good to go.

Skydiving

Summer took Christian skydiving for his birthday. You can see here the nervousness in them. I think I was panicing.....

Each of them had a camera man that jumped with them and filmed the event. For some reason the picture won't upload on my computer but when they do I will switch these temporary ones for the professional pictures.

I think the worse for me as their mother is waiting on the ground for their safe landing. Watching your children get into a plane that you KNOW they are jumping out of really makes you stop and realize just how deeply I love them.

and there they go

Summer is safe

Christian is safe. I really hope they decide not to do it again. I'm not sure my heart can take round two!!!!!!
