Yard Work

Saturdays are yard work days. Its nice when everyone comes out to help. Sometimes everyone doesn't want to help. I think Curtis disappeared into the house to play Xbox. So sneaky.

Even Peyton contributed

"Ewe, gross dad you're all sweaty."
Adriana and Kendyl helped. Well, a little :)

You men are awesome. Thanks for cleaning off the lawnmower Christian. Looks great...

Sabrina and Cami. Adriana and Howie. You kids are so cute

My new mothers day shirt that Adriana bought for me. Perfect fit and just my taste. Thank you sweetie...

Happy Birthday Howard

Happy birthday son...

Howard turned 11. He is growing up so fast. The

day started out with donuts to the classroom, he wanted them over cupcakes. Now that the kids are getting older we let them choose to be surprised with presents from us or they can go with me shopping and pick what gifts they would like. Howard of course didn't want to be surprised. His first pick was a spendy baseball bat. It paid off. He hit a triple at the baseball game. Then he tried out several other items at the sporting good store.

Cake of choice. Its called the chocolate bomb. The candles are an 11, confusing I know.

His 17 year old brother Christian thought this would be a nice touch for Howard's room. Ummm, I don't think so, but look at the look on Howard's face. Wow!!!!!!!

I love you Howie. We are so proud of you. You are a very thoughtful and you have a big heart.

She and I

It is so flattering when people say that we look so much alike. You are absolutely stunning Summer. What a beautiful daughter. As for the resemblance? I'm just not seeing it. Lol

I'm starting to miss your natural blond hair.

All-Stars

All-star game. Curtis was invited to play for the all stars last night. They pull several players from different teams to make two really great teams. Curtis did very well.

It was so cold at the game. Howard you are just so cuddly. Thank you for keeping me warm.

So, I guess blankets aren't just for girls, huh babe. When you get cold enough then you become desperate. This is why we bring a sweatshirt. Lucky for you, I enjoy sharing with the best looking guy there :)

Smile Adriana

That's better.

Wow, it was so cold. Good thing the blankets were in the car. Who would have guessed it would be so chilly....

Sabrina, you are just so precious. Oh, and I saw you checking out the good looking boy sitting in front of us. Nice choice. He has a great smile. Lol

Monster

Christian and his dad went on a big quad and motorcycling trip during spring break. So before my husband left I asked him to text me A LOT of pictures. Hmmmm!!!! Is 2 A LOT? I think I was ripped off. So this is the extent of the pictures. Nice mo hawk Christian.

Oh, you're doing it wrong. I'm pretty sure the pants go over your legs. Close though. Maybe you should try it again.

Boys in the sand

Hiram had two camp outs during the spring break. What a guy. Such a great father to take time off work to be with his boys.

The water is of course, freezing cold. How do kids do it. They don't seemed to be bother in the least by the low temperature. CrAzY KiDs!!!
Boys in the sand.....

"Check out the imprint of my butt"

Curtis teeth are chattering.

"Hey dad, can you still see my six pack under all the sand?"

Cake

Adriana and her friend made this beautiful cake for their friends birthday. Very creative girls...

Such a sweetheart

What a Hunk...

Dang Christian, you've got it going on. How are the babes suppose to resist that....

Smokin' hot shoes...I'm addicted to stilettos....

" I make this suit look good".

Thanks Christian for being the man you are. I'm proud of you and know that you will make excellent choices in your life. I'm blessed to be your mother.

When we were purchasing the new suit the lady glanced over at Christian and asked, " is this suit for a new job?" His reply, "no its for the ladies". Awesome sense of humor...

Brothers

The boys get along so well together. Christian is a great big brother.

Howard looked over at me, tilted his hat and said, "howdy lil lady". What a cutie...

This was a late night car ride home from an outing. So sweet. Curtis is so patient with Howard. How could he not be. Howard is just so lovable. ( I did have to wake them up to put their seat belts on)

Curtis and Howard share bunk beds and inevitably I will go in to kiss them goodnight and they are in the same bed. I'll ask Curtis why and he always say, " I cant tell Howard no when he tells me he's scared and asks if he can sleep in my bed". This is so endearing. Pretty soon they both won't fit in the same small bed. Scoot over Curtis....

Growing ducks

The ducks are growing so fast. They are so messy and they need more than the cage in the backyard and the little wading pool Hiram bought them.. So I think that they will be going to a new home next week. We have some friends down the street with a very large pond. There are some ducks there now and are excited to have the ducklings as well. The ducks will be in heaven...

This is a pretty picture of you Summer. We had a wonderful time when you were over...

Daffy and Wiz.....

"Mom, look how tall my duck is now. I think he is taking steroids or something."

Summer's date

Summer and Christian went out with us on our date last week. Those two crack me up. First we went to El Rosal (our favorite) then to the movies. I cant tell if your bored Summer or just trying to figure Christian out.
Christian: "Your eyes are beautiful Summer".

Summer: " Seriously, quit looking at me like that. You re creeping me out".

After the movies AND dinner AND popcorn we stopped at the grocery store. I looked over just in time to see Christian trying to drop this stuff in the basket. WTH....... Put it back!!!!!!!!!
Geeze Summer, put a leash on your date.....

Always a good time

I had a great time with you tonight babe at the Police dinner. You really looked nice and of course you smelled amazing as always.

The Police Department is so lucky to have a man like you on the force. You're honest and truly a good man. Hmmm, I wonder why they nick named you "Smiley", I'm just not seeing it ;)

I am so proud of you. Excellent job on receiving the Top Gun award. You definitely deserve it.

Ducklings

The children went with their dad the other day to help clean up one of the rentals while I stayed home and finished up the yard work. So as a reward he was nice enough to bring home two little baby ducks, just what we needed ;)

Howard's is the yellow one. He named him Daffy.

" Howard, the sun is so bright out here, I have to squint when I look up."

Sabrina and Daffy

The black and yellow mixed on belongs to Sabrina. She has yet to come up with a name.

They really are cute
This one was nibbling on Adriana's nose

So far the children are doing a great job taking care of them. I'm sorry to say but their days may be numbered. We have 3 dogs. I always wonder how the kids can talk their dad into just about anything.

Again!!

Another trip to the ER. Sabrina is such a little trooper. She very seldom complains about her asthma. She called me the other day from school to tell me she wasn't breathing well. After resting in the office she said she wanted to go back to class. I just had a bad feeling and decided to pick her up anyways. Its a good thing I did because off to the emergency room we went once I saw her.

They will give her a shot of steroids and an intense breathing treatment. Her asthma triggers cause her airways to swell and makes it hard for her to breathe. Ive had a bit of a cold lately and a new awareness of a drop of what she must go through struggling to just inhale. She has such a positive attitude towards this challenge. I'm so happy you are my daughter.
