Grandma Nana

Our kids really love their grandma Nana. She is in the rehabilitation facility right now. We enjoy visiting her and we should see her more often than we do. Her spirits are always uplifted and positive. One thing about Hiram's mom is her ability to stay neutral in our marriage disagreements.
Mom has so many friends in her facility. She is so caring and always asks others how they're doing and feeling. She has a deep compassion for others.

My Parents

My parents are so young at heart and physically. They are always on the go. They amaze ME..

When they're not teaching school they enjoy skiing. It's incredible having such active parents. I am so thankful to be loved by them and get to love them in return.

My father is quite the artist. He is very talented and you can see why he draws, he is good at it!!!!

More skiing. They really love each others company....

The Scriptures

How thankful I am to have the scriptures at the tip of my fingers. Technology these days is so wonderful. I listen to my scriptures on my way to school, alternated with conference talks. It is a great way to start the day. I feel uplifted and so appreciative of my blessings. A humble heart is so teachable. I want my heart to always stay this way. I'm closer to the promptings of the spirit than I've ever been. I'm grateful of the gospel in my life.

Happy Birthday Howard

Howard turned 12. He is such a wonderful young man. He is now a Deacon and was ordained the Aaron priesthood by his father at church. He is getting closer to becoming a missionary and prepares himself each day by being worthy of this responsibility.

Thank you for your beautiful example of how a son of God should behave..
What a good boy you are, Howard.....

It was so nice to watch Howard pass the sacrament. He was nervous, but he did a wonderful job.

Howard's cake was interesting. He has a fascination for playing cards. He'll do tricks with them and has an extra set he carries around from time to time.

Wow, a Senior

Christian graduated from high school early this year and moved to Utah. He worked very hard and was able to get his diploma before graduation day. He is planning on entering the military next week. We are so very proud of you, Christian. We miss you so much son. We are so blessed to be your parents.

(This is an older picture but it was from his high school so it was fitting)

8th Grade Graduation

Sabrina's 8th grade graduation. She couldn't wait for this day. Her excitement shown through in her beautiful smile. We are so proud of you Sabrina.

She was so cute after her graduation. We had to wait to congratulate her because she was busy getting her picture taken with a few of her friends. (Yes, they were boys!!)

 We love you sweet Sabrina....

Her shoe choice was darling. She walked with her great friend, Logan Black. He was laughing because she couldn't keep up with him, due to her shoe height....
