I am a daughter of God!!!

"That man is a child of God is the most important knowledge available to mortals"

Marion G. Romney

"I would charge you to say again and again and again to yourselves...."I am [a son or daughter] of God and by so doing begin today to live closer to those ideals which will make your life happier and more fruitful because of an awakened realization of who you are"

Harold B. Lee

"Always be the person that you were meant to be. Don't let harsh words from another lower your standards. If you don't stand for something then you'll fall for anything. Stay true to your faith at all cost. "

If this isn't your castle, then you're not my prince

I was sealed to my prince in the Oakland Temple years ago. I am so grateful for that special blessing. What a gift he is to me. A gift from above. We had Temple day last month and enjoyed the special day we spent together.

I am putting one of these beautiful pictures of the Lord's house on my daughters wall and putting the words underneath the picture that says, "If this isn't your castle then you're not my prince....

I think this is my favorite...

They are all so beautiful and say so much just from the outside of such a special place. The peace you find inside the walls of the Temple are beyond phenomenal. What a blessing to be sealed for time and all eternity to the man of your dreams....

Brina

I love you Sabrina. Your sweet spirit is so infectious. I get so much joy from watching you love others and seeing your kind heart.

This is a darling picture of you from when you were 18 months old.....

You were 4 years old here. A little doll baby!!!

Doing your hair was a lot of fun. You always looked so cute and very girly. I thank my Father in Heaven everyday for all my beautiful children. How blessed I am to have you.....

Knights Ferry

We went to Knights Ferry for Adriana's cheer pictures. What a pretty girl. I had to sneak a pic....

The boys came too.......Seeing this picture first might leave you confused until you see what took place prior to this....

I guess the feet swinging in the air left reason to "protect" themselves...

My boys are everything to me. They bring such joy into my life. They have a strong love for one another....

Fisherman

Christian and Hiram, with several other fathers, went deep sea fishing. They went to half moon bay fishing for rock cod. They left at the crack of dawn.
Hiram couldn't get his catch to smile for the camera.

"Open wide and let go of my fingers."

Now that is a fish. This picture will prove that this is no fish story. Great catch Christian. The boys had a blast. After the motion sickness settled, they had a fabulous time. Male bonding!!!!!

My Santa

Hiram played the role of Santa at our church Christmas party. He was so tender with the little children. Very few were afraid to sit on Santa's lap. I think it is his natural loving nature and kindness for all he comes in contact with. One sweet little boy brought his toy catalog to show Santa the exact toy he wanted for Christmas. It was cute.
Almost each year Hiram is asked to play Santa and he willingly does it. He has such a good heart and is always eager to help those around him. He truly emulates charity~ the pure love of Christ. How eternally thankful I am to have married a man with a quality like this.....

Born of Goodly Parents

I have been born of goodly parents. My parents came down from Utah last week to help our family with a move. How blessed I am to have such beautiful examples of service. They have always been there for me and love me unconditionally...

I will strive to be a more patient loving mother and follow in my parents footsteps to love my children and fast and pray for them in time of need. My relationship with my parents will continue to be more precious to me each day of my life...

Families are forever

My love for my family grows more and more each and everyday. How thankful I am that my family has been sealed together for all eternity. What would heaven be like without our families there to share it with. I am grateful for a Father in Heaven who loves me and wants me to return to Him someday. I want my life to be as clean as earth right after rain. I want to be the best I can, to live with God again........

Scout Breakfast

The scouts did a breakfast on Memorial Day. It was fun but too early after staying up till the we hours of the morning. We had 4 extra kids that spent the night the day before and we did a midnight store run. These kind of things will always be remembered by the kids.

Sabrina squinting into the sun while eating her pancakes.

Curtis was doing a fantastic job helping and serving but then he got side tracked.

The hardest working scout there.

The man who made the pancakes so yummy!!!

"Curtis, watch those tongs."

The boy scout I choice to take home with me.

Hunters

What is it about boys that makes them feel the need to hunt. I can't say I'm complaining because there is no way that I could do this for fun or out of necessity. Thank heaven for boys.Christian in his suit at church. He brought his partners in crime, Nick and Danny...

Christian's first kill. His victim is this sweet little rabbit who's family is probably off in the distance watching in horror. Wipe that grin off your face.

There are tons of squirrels on the property they hunt on, so they "apparently" were asked to reduce their population by a few.

Perfect color gun. Pink gun, seriously???

They brought their kills home and cooked them on the back of the truck on a little BBQ. The squirrels didn't get cooked but the rabbits were sliced open, and cooked... Disgusting... Howard and a few others were brave enough to try this cooked animal. Me? Not a chance!!!!

I guess a boy needs a break from this tiring adventure

This hunting worries me. It is a good thing there is a father and a mother raising my boys because I'm sure I would unintentionally turn them into sissies. I worry about them shooting each other accidentally or several other dangerous things that can happen while hunting.

Adriana

This is a very pretty picture of you Adriana. You did a remarkable job on your talk Sunday. I had so many people coming up to me and telling me what a wonderful sweet spirit you are.

So sweet. You're turning out to be such a beautiful girl, inside and out. Always remember that your inner beauty is by far the most beautiful one to achieve.

I am so proud to be your mother. Thank you for blessing me with that honor.

So wholesome

Can't turn down a nice high heel shot.

Curtis

Curtis went to the 6th grade dance. Usually they don't go to the dances until they are around 14. I don't think they need to be within 2 feet of the opposite sex until they hit the age of 18... Lol. How many children at the age of 12 really need to be dancing with each other anyways?!!!

Last year when we found out that they just make google eyes at the girls and play games. I figured how harmless this innocent dance ways. Then when the dance was over and Curtis came home with several beads around his neck I second guessed my first opinion :)

Temple

We had a youth temple trip lately. They are always eventful as you can see from the group of rift rafts here. Actually, that isn't true, the youth are so great and fun to be around. It is always a special day when we attend the Temple. We had 4 of our 6 children there and I'm so blessed to be part of this day with them.

So much for our picture in front of the Temple Christian. Maybe Sabrina wasn't the best photographer. I really wanted a family one too but we will do it next time.

Curtis and the boys.

You boys look sharp

Why are our pictures so blurry. You looked nice Hiram.

Sabrina and dad. The waterfall is so pretty.

"Hey dad, mom wants us to pose again for a picture so lets pretend and just smile."

"Mom, I can see our house from up here."
"Really?" "Get off the car."
